LONG BEACH, Calif. (April 1, 2010) -- Lucha VaVOOM will be bringing the action-packed, bizarre world of the 1960s Mexican Lucha Cinema to the 36th Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach on Friday, April 16.
The all-ages show begins at 8:30 p.m. in the Long Beach Convention Center Grand Ballroom, a standing room only performance, immediately following the Tecate Light Fiesta Friday concert on the Convention Center outdoor stage. A non-stop, high-energy action show featuring Mexican masked wrestlers performing acrobatic feats while battling “evil luchadores,” Lucha VaVOOM includes between-matches entertainment highlighted by hand-picked burlesque acts, aerial performers and a variety of other colorful performance artists.
