LONG BEACH, Calif. (March 25, 2008) -- Race fans attending the 34th Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach will have a chance to enjoy renowned Mexican pop artist and Latin Grammy winner Aleks Syntek at Friday night’s Tecate Light “Fiesta Friday” Concert Presented by Lowe’s on the Tecate Light stage, in front of the Long Beach Performing Arts Center.
And, best of all, the concert is FREE to race ticket holders!
Producer, arranger and composer; Aleks Syntek has recorded three multi-platinum albums and has achieved numerous nominations from the Billboard Awards, Latin Grammys, and MTV Latin America. In 1999 he received the Mexican Academy Movie Award for “Best Score” with the movie Sexo, Pudor y Lagrimas (Sex, Shame and Tears). Currently, Syntek is planning a mainstream crossover including several English versions of his original Spanish language hits.
