LONG BEACH ARENA SET TO ROCK ALL WEEKEND AT TOYOTA GRAND PRIX OF LONG BEACH ‘ARENA JAMM’

LONG BEACH, Calif. (March 25, 2010) -- The roar of cars speeding around the race circuit will have some sound level competition April 16-18 at the 36th Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach:  the rockin’ music of Arena Jamm!

New to race weekend, Arena Jamm will feature a virtual “who’s who” of the best local rock bands performing almost non-stop all weekend in the Long Beach Convention Center Arena as part of the race’s Lifestyle Expo.

The Arena Jamm bands will each perform half-hour sets according to the current following schedule (subject to change):

The Lifestyle Expo, free with race ticket, also includes Team Soil BMX Freestyle Demonstrations three times daily, as well as the Grand Prix’s “Green Power Prix-View” with the latest innovations in alternative energy vehicles and living.

The Expo is open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Sunday.

Admission prices for Friday through Sunday have not changed since 2008, and start at $25 for a Friday-only general admission ticket to $125 for a three-day ticket, which includes Saturday and Sunday reserved seating on upper levels of the grandstands. Pre-paid parking packages are also available.
