Dear Media Personnel:
Thank you for your interest in covering the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. Media credential requests for the 40th Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, taking place April 11-13, will be accepted beginning on January 20.
All requests for Long Beach media credentials must be postmarked or submitted electronically by Friday, March 14, 2014. All media outlets must submit their requests in writing on company letterhead or by electronic form (located at http://www.gplb.com/credential-form/) stating the name of person or persons needing credentials and his or her function at the race. The request must come from the outlet’s editor or producer. We would also ask that each media outlet consolidate its requests, submitting one form per outlet if possible.
We do not accept requests from freelance journalists, writers or photographers, nor do we accept faxes or e-mails. If you are a freelancer working for a credited news outlet, then the request must come from the person you are working for.
If you would like to mail your request on letterhead, please send it to:
Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach
3000 Pacific Avenue
Long Beach, CA 90806
Once we have received and processed your request, a confirmation letter will be e-mailed or faxed to you.
After we have processed your credentials, there will be no changing or switching of names. Due to space allocation within the race circuit, we reserve the right to limit the number of credentials issued for each news outlet and also to limit your accessibility to different areas.
If you have any questions, please contact the Public Relations Dept. at (562) 490-4513.
